Galaxy S I9000 Android Smartphone By Samsung: Pre-Order Today, Release Date Getting Close [New Promo Videos]

Samsung’s Galaxy S I900 Smartphone is getting ready for release, and Samsung is making a point of telling potential buyers every little niche feature of the device- the phone is available now for pre-order in the UK, and set to release June 10th.

The I9000 represents Samsung’s first venture into the Android market- and they’re certainly aiming to leave their mark. Samsung has taken advantage of just about every avenue possible to make this project a success- and it’s clear that they’re in the Android spirit, too- since most of their ad traffic has been through YouTube ad campaigns, rather than traditional commercials.

The phone will retail in the UK unlocked and uncontracted for 449.99 EURO (about 571 USD), and is expected to sell very well on release. Here’s a breakdown of the specs:
