Verizon’s LG Ally Release Date CONFIRMATION! [Will Be Available From Verizon For $100]

May 14, 2010, By Intermaggio

After much speculation on the release date of the LG Ally cellphone, the release date has finally been confirmed. The LG Ally, available from Verizon, will be released on May 20th with a handful of awesome features! Read on to learn why we’re excited about this phone!

There’s something very pleasing about the way that the Ally is laid out. The QWERTY keyboard is formed in such a way that the keys are very easy to find, yet very compact. In addition to the full keyboard, the Ally has an advanced touch screen, and the awesome software bundle that we’re becoming accustomed to with Android phones.

In addition to the standard features, the Ally has a digital compass, GPS, an accelerometer, and of all things, a light sensor (the light sensor detects how much backlighting is needed at any given time to preserve battery power). Oh- and we can’t forget the proximity sensor, that detects when the phone is being held to your ear, so you don’t press buttons accidentally while on a call.

One other thing: the Ally has very nice battery life. Up to 500 hours (About 20 DAYS) standby time, or 450 minutes of usage time- meaning that you’ll rarely have battery problems with this phone.

We can’t wait for the release of the LG Ally. Can you?
