The phone also allows for simultaneous transfer of voice and data, allowing user to voice chat and browse the internet at the same time on the gadget. Video chatting can be made possible on both 3G and 4G networks as well. The phone will be available for sale on Sprint’s network for $199 from June 4 onwards.

The 20 minute video shows a part of the event that would bring to you a better idea of how the EVO 4G compares with other 3G smartphones when it comes to video streaming. It also shows a feature in the phone by which a user can find a location on Google just by scanning the image of the location on the phone. All of these functions can be done simultaneously along with talking on the phone.

Another feature called the Layer AR shows the user displaying a real time environment on the phone using the device’s camera. The device displays a virtual overlay on the screen that shows the user the locations of places such as train stations and restaurants. This is achieved by the use of augmented reality.
