AT&T Palm Pre Plus hitting the stores on May 16 @ $149.99 with free Touchstone dock

After a long wait AT&T has finally revealed the pricing and release date for their Palm Pre
Plus. The new webOS handset will be landing on May 16 priced at $149.99 . Thats the same price as what Sprint is charging and a full $120 above Big red’s pricing for the same device. AT&T is also offering buyers a Touchstone charging dock for free along with their Pre Plus “for a limited time”.

The Palm Pre Plus comes with a 3.1 inch HVGA multi-touch capable touchscreen display and is powered by a 600MHz ARM Cortex A8+ processor. It has 512MB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The Pre Plus has a slideout QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2 megapixel camera with LEDFlash and geotagging. The device runs on Palm’s webOS operating system.

The lower end smartphone in the same series, the Palm Pixi Plus has not yet been confirmed on AT&T yet. There is also no word about the mobile hotspot addon which is available for free on Verizon.
