Dell have updated their E-series in theLatitude collection with the new Dell Latitude E4310 that has just been granted permission from the FCC as Lafite. A 13-inch machine that brags with rock solid durability and a rugged full-featured, ultraportable design, the new Latitude E4310 won’t compromise on its specs — which is why under the hood there’s an Intel 2.4GHz Core i5-520M (Dual Core) or a 2.53GHz Core i5-540M (Dual Core) processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and up to 500GB of storage space.

But the all new Dell Latitude E4310 also brings an interesting list of extra options you can choose from and that means you could be in for the 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD), the backlit keyboard, a fingerprint reader and UWB radio.

Full specs for the Latitude E4310 include a 13.3″ WLED Anti-Glare LED Display (1366×768 resolution), built-in HD Graphics with dynamic frequency from Intel (QS57 Express Chipset), Wi-Fi (Draft-N) and Bluetooth connectivity, Stereo Speakers, headphone or Microphone combo jack, and an integrated 2.0mp webcam.

Ports include USB 2.0 (1), eSATA/USB 2.0 Combo (1), an RJ-45 network connection, a 7-in-1 card reader, a docking connector and VGA out.

Weighing in at 3.4 lbs/1.54 kg (with 3-cell battery) the new Dell Latitude E3410 will start selling at just over $1,100 for the base model that runs on Core i5-520M CPUs.
