The next installment in the wildly popular Call Of Duty series was announced and a trailer was shown on GameTrailerTV over the weekend. Now the only thing left was for Amazon to start offering pre-orders for the 7th game in the series, titled as Call of Duty : Black Ops. The first person shooter is slated for release on November 9th, 2010 and will be developed by TreyArch, who were the same people who made Call Of Duty : World At War.

Details are scarce about the game right now as it has just been announced. What is known is that it will be a ‘Cold-War shooter’ and will include a wide range of locations including Cuba, South America, Iran, the Arctic and more. The teaser trailer is now live on GameTrailer.com and features a lot of action including Missiles launching, exploding laboratories, snowsuit soldiers in wintry environs, crashing helicopters, guys in bandanas, Hueys hovering over cities in flames, and lots more stuff blowing up.

A press announcement from developer TreyArch said that Black Ops will, “take players behind enemy lines in an entirely new chapter in the groundbreaking and record-setting, No. 1 first-person action series of all-time.”.
