MSI Releases the GE600, Get it for $900

April 29, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

A while back, we told you about the newly announced GE600 laptop by MSI, apparently targeted at the gaming crowd. Its hardware makes the “gaming” title a bit questionable, especially when you compare it to other laptops by MSI, but it still holds its own ground nicely.

So, what do you get for the price of $900? For starters, you’ll be enjoying your games (or whatever you decide to use the laptop for) on a 16-inch screen running at 1366×768, and you’ll have 4GB of DDR3 RAM at your disposal. It also comes equipped with a 320GB hard drive working at 7200RPM, and its video rendering powered by a Mobility Radeon HD 5730. Last but not least, there’s a Core i5-430M running at 2.26GHz powering the whole thing, which rounds it up rather nicely.

On the auxiliary end, you have the standard array of connectivity ports, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support and all that you’ve come to expect from a laptop of this class. So if you need something that packs some power for a not-so-high price, get this little baby now!
