T-Mobile are quite prominent in online rumors, especially when they concern an upcoming phone release. The current unconfirmed news has it that the carrier is preparing to launch the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in a brand new color style, Fuschia Red.

The leak states May 19 as the phone’s release date, so we have about a month until we find out the truth behind the rumor. For those of you who’re not familiar with the Curve 8520, the device comes with a 2.64″ display running at a 320×240 resolution, features a 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom capabilities, and is powered by a 512MHz processor.

The phone also packs Bluetooth 2.0 support, a 3.5mm stereo jack as well as an optical trackpad for input and navigation. The battery is quite good as well, holding for about 4-5 hours of talking time and ~17 hours in standby.

The price hasn’t been specified yet, though if T-Mobile’s current lineup is to be of any indication, we should expect the phone to cost $49.99 and bind you to T-Mobile’s services for two years.
