Apple iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter is a Useless Accessory!

Apple is such a fantastic brand not just for the products it offers but also for the millions of applications that can be used on all of Apple’s wonderful thingamajigs. But there is a problem with this brand and this problem keeps nagging the users over and over again. It is the habit of Apple to push users to buy a useless brigade of accessories as it seldom offers native support for functions usually found on other devices.

The iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter is again one of those accessories in the first place and matters get worse, when it doesn’t even perform its basic job.

This device, as the image also clarifies, is meant to enable the users to see their videos and slideshows on the big screen. But, when you use this accessory, you will realize that any video laced in any type of DRM and this includes videos from iTunes flicks and Netflix streaming will not be displayed on the big screen.

What is more is that this adapter doesn’t actually mirror the iPad’s display the way it should and Apple’s own Pages and Keynote apps also won’t output via this dongle. Why on earth is this device being sold by Apple then?

If this accessory is not competent to blow up all sorts of videos stored onto the iPad, Cupertino should at least start selling it with a more detailed description so that the users are not fooled into buying it upfront.
