HTC Droid Incredible Multitouch Already Being Touted Better than the Nexus One

The HTC Droid Incredible is a fresh baby in the smartphone market and the Android powered device is quickly getting popular to threaten the likes of the Google Nexus One. We already know that the Nexus One is not that famous for its multi-touch superiority but, this notion does not take the credit away from HTC Droid Incredible.

What makes Droid Incredible better than the Nexus One is the question that needs to be answered. The magic integration for the Droid Incredible is that of the Atmel maXTouch sensor which is blessed with unlimited touch support. The same sensor also adorns the Evo 4G which directly implies that even the Evo 4G will better the Nexus One in this regard.

When you perceive the difference as a user, the Nexus One isn’t well equipped to trace multiple touch inputs like the Evo 4G or the Droid Incredible. Nexus One uses Synaptics ClearPad 2000 sensor which isn’t capable enough to trace multiple inputs.

Things might improve for Nexus One users through future updates but even those updates will not help the Google smartphone to match the standard which is now being set by these two HTC smartphones. The sensors used by HTC are better and they also consume lesser power compared to the one Nexus One iteration.
