NEC to Launch 3D All-In-One Desktop PC Before the End of 2010

April 21, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

NEC is all set to launch a new 3D all-in-one desktop PC. The  official release is likely to come before the close of 2010. Though the company is yet to make an announcement with regard to what it would be naming the new PC, a demonstration of the prototype of product was held in Japan recently.

The 3D PC would come with features that would be more than enough to lure enthusiasts to pick it up as soon as it arrives. Among them would be a Blu-ray player and an LCD display that would display 3D content using polarized glasses. Significantly, the polarized glasses would be priced less than the active shutter glasses that are currently sold by 3D TV manufacturers. Though other specifications have not been revealed, we are sure the 3D desktop PC would come with all that would make us go for it.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that the computer would put to play software that would be capable of converting 2D photographs or movies into 3D. Further, the desktop will also come with a media player for 3D visual software and TV programs. We are going for it, aren’t you too?
