HTC Desire to arrive in two different flavors in the UK; Launch lined up by 3UK

Spurred by the added levels of enthusiasm from among customers for the HTC Desire, 3UK is lining up the launch of a generic, non-3 branded version of the phone. The new version is aimed at customers who just can’t wait!

According to 3UK, who has been trailing carriers such as T-Mobile and Vodafone in the industry, the operator is working towards a faster release of the HTC Desire. The touch screen handset, which has already seen so many headlines written about it for its social networking and internet applications, is expected to see added customer activity due to its generic avatar. The generic version will be able to download 3UK’s products and services such as Skype, Windows Live Messenger. Besides these, on offer will be 3UK’s unique Spotify premium app.

So here are the details you would want to know. The HTC Desire will available on 3UK starting at £35 a month with unlimited internet, texts and 750 anytime any network minutes on a 24month contract. Further, the company has said that, the phone will also be available to pick for £349 on Pay As You Go.

So you will now have an option while shopping for the HTC Desire in the UK. If you would love to own the branded device, wait for at least a month after the generic version is rolled out.
