Apple iPad 3G to Arrive on May 7 in the United States; Europe May Have to Wait Till End of the Month

The 3G equipped variant of the Apple iPad is set for arrival. Apple has detailed the device on its online store with a possible shipping date. As per the information, the 3G tablet will be available for you to pick, starting May 7.

The 3G iPad will be hopping on the AT&T network for an unlimited data plan of $30 a month. Going by what we learn, the device will be available in the US marketplace three days ahead of the announcement of specific international availability. This could also mean that the customers in the UK and other European regions might get to see the 3G and WiFi-only slates coming out by the end of May. From what we understand, the 3G device will be available in the United States for the 250MB or unlimited plans on AT&T. That could mean that if you choose the 250MB plan for $15, the network will keep you updated via onscreen messages as to when your monthly data limit would need a recharge. This would provide you with the option of whether to turn off 3G or upgrade to the unlimited plan. One good aspect about this plan is that there’s no contract involved. Options to know when you need to recharge, check data usage, manage account, or even cancel your service can be done easily with the 3G version of your iPad. If you are a professional on the move, we are sure this is heartening news for you.
