iPad UK Pricing Announced; O2, Vodafone & Orange to Offer Dedicated Price Plans for iPad

April 15, 2010, By Alex Ion

Apple’s latest device, the iPad, won’t go internationally any time soon, at least not before the end of May. Cause for that is the high demand in the US. However, British operators O2, Vodafone and Orange have officially announced that the iPad will be available in the UK “soon” (which we already knew) and were kind enough to give us more details regarding pricing. Or did they?

If you’d like to know what O2, Vodafone and Orange will charge you for the iPad, we’re not yet sure, but we do know that all three companies announced “dedicated price plans” for it — whatever that means.

O2: “O2 today announced that it will offer dedicated iPad price plans for all models from the end of May in the UK”.

Vodafone: “Vodafone today announced that it will offer dedicated iPad price plans for all models from the end of May in Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK”.

Orange: “Orange today announced that it will offer dedicated iPad price plans for all models from the end of May (in France, UK, Spain and Switzerland)”.

Translated to English, all these meas that before its UK debut, the iPad will be priced on O2, Vodafone and Orange, but that’s another statement to talk about.

Too bad!
