HTC Desire Surprisingly Heading to U.S. Cellular?

April 15, 2010, By Atul Roach

The HTC Desire was once a ‘sought after’ phone in the US but no one really announced the handset. You surely know what ‘sought after’ implies in the world of technology so when the smartphone is hardly something which will be noticed in the US, the six-largest carrier in the country, US Cellular, has finally decided to debut the HTC Desire in the US.

US Cellular hasn’t outright announced the smartphone but the name has been spotted on a leaked rebate form you see above. Once you spot the name on such lists, it is a clear indication that the carrier is willing to market the phone pretty soon.

In this particular case, there is no specific release date that has been mentioned but the rebate form clearly says that the interested customers should purchase the HTC Desire from April 16th to July 15th.

If my clock is doing fine, this means that the US Cellular subscribers can go visit the US cellular stores from tomorrow and make the HTC Desire their own. Sadly, this rebate form only talks about the rebate and not the price and for that, we will have to wait until tomorrow.

How about some better marketing efforts US Cellular? It is a smartphone that could bring you some real good sales! [Via: Androidandme]
