Motorola Twist Android Handset Details Leaked; Reveal a Fairly Ordinary Device

April 14, 2010, By Atul Roach

Motorola is readying yet another Android device in its ranks and it ‘might’ be called the Motorola Twist which will let users ‘network with a twist’. This leaked document snapshot you see below might have all the details of the Motorola Twist including its Android 1.5 OS details. There were talks of Motorola readying a device that will feature MOTOBLUR in conjunction with Android 2.1 but this phone is not the one to do it for the users.

The fact that this secret device comes laden with MOTOBLUR may even imply that Android 2.1 and MOTOBLUR will never happen together.

Other than MOTOBLUR, the rest of the spec sheet is fairly ordinary as the Twist will come with a 2.8″ QVGA multitouch display, to begin with. Even the camera on the device will be a 3MP variant but thank goodness, there is a microSD card assisted memory expansion up to 32GB.

On the connectivity front, Motorola Twist will offer WiFi, aGPS, dual-band HSPA (850/1900MHz) and 700MHz. There is nothing in there to excite us so I wonder what that ‘Twist’ is all about. [Via: BGR]
