With the iPad now in consumer hands, the next big thing on the agenda for all Apple fanatics is to lay their hands on the next generation iPhone. The problem is that these aficionados do not know the precise release date of the iPhone 4G and Apple has not been of help in this regard. There are some sources that keep claiming the iPhone 4G arrival from time to time and this time it is ModMyi which is specifically mentioning June 22 as the release date.

How do they know it? Well, Apple has booked the Yerba Buena Center for Arts (pictured) located by the Moscone Center in San Francisco. ModMyi spotted the name in the dairy and is hopeful for the iPhone 4G arrival as all three previous iPhones were unveiled at this very venue.

Just for reference sake, last year’s model (3G S) broke cover on June 8th at the same venue while the second generation model (3G) was made public on June 8th, 2008. If we follow this trend, it is evident that Apple is already late in unveiling the new iPhone. Be there at Yerba Buena Center for Arts on June 22, your prayers will finally be answered!
