Apple iPad not getting the iPhone OS 4 Now, Only Past Fall

April 9, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Lots have been written about the Apple iPhone OS 4 and its impending arrival. Come Summer and the new operating system will be yours on your iPhone and iPod Touch. Are we missing out on some thing here? Right, the iPad. When will the new OS come hopping on to the iPad? That, in fact, is one question everyone seems to be asking.  We guess we will have to wait for an exact date, and that date seems to be beyond Fall.

Rewind to Steve Jobs presentation as he unveiled the new OS. He left the audience disappointed with a hint that the new OS will not be arriving on the iPad before fall. That’s quite a delayed arrival, isn’t it? Wonder why Apple has to keep us all waiting till a new season even after the new operating system got unveiled.

So, the statement means iPad users will have to wait to see those multitasking features and the iAds come on to the iPad a bit delayed. We know you all are waiting to get a taste of the App folders, Game Center, iAd and multitasking features on your iPad as soon as possible. But then, Apple has different plans.
