Darksiders PC version to debut this June; may ride on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version success

Come June, and the PC version of its Darksiders game will finally roll out. The game had been in the works since a while. It was in March we last heard of it, when it was announced that the work on the game was almost over and that the game was gearing up for release. The Vigil Games opus had arrived on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last January. It is now time for the PC version.

When it arrived on gaming consoles back in January, it managed to send sales graphs zooming, thanks to some good reviews. The game had sold over 1.2 million units in the first month of launch.

Vigil Games now has shaped the game for the PC and in some way or another answers demands for a version of this sort. It mat be recalled that many a reviewer had lamented the lack of a PC version of the game when it was first launched only on gaming consoles. Though built on Unreal Engine 3, which incidentally was initially developed for PC, the game had to wait this long to make it to the PC. Now that June is being scheduled as launch month, we might get to see the Darksiders create a few new records.
