T-Mobile HTC HD2 Bait; Wants you to Trade-in Your iPhone for $350

April 5, 2010, By Atul Roach

The surprise hit this Spring has been the T-Mobile HTC HD2 and even then, T-Mobile is not satisfied enough and the Carrier is offering an interesting trade-in program for the iPhone users. This isn’t a confirmed T-Mobile tactic and the source is a leaked Memo which reveals how T-Mobile is wanting to lure in iPhone users by offering them anywhere between $100 to $350 in exchange of their working iPhones. What they will get in exchange is a brand new T-Mobile plan activated HTC HD2.

The memo leak however does not specify whether the customers have to already be T-Mobile customers or if they can be AT&T users willing to switch networks.

You will not see these promotional posters lurking at T-Mobile stores as the third-party dealers will be the ones taking care of the exchange program but yes, T-Mobile will take orders for the exchange directly through the phone.

It is important to note that a lot of iPhone owners are using unlocked versions of the smartphone on T-Mobile’s network and this drive may be an effort to get those customers converted into postpaid clients. [via: BGR]
