HP ENVY 15 Series Notebooks (NX369AV) Start Selling, Pricing from $950 After Rebate

The cats at HP have finally announced that their HP Envy 15 Series notebooks began selling, with an interesting price tag.

The sleek laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-430M Dual Core processor that clocks in at 2.26GHz, has a 15.6-inch 1366×768 widescreen LED-backlit LCD with BrightView technology, and for the base configuration it has 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 graphics card with 1GB of dedicated memory and HDMI out.

Other goodies include Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth connectivty, a webcam, a dual layer DVD burner, a powerful 6-cell battery pack and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

So what’s the catch with the $950 price we’re talking about, because from what it looks like the HP Envy 15 (model number NX369AV) supposedly goes North of $1,300? Apparently there’s a deal on HP’s website (or a glitch). All you need to do is go for the 640GB hard drive (an extra $100) and apply coupon code NBMY33241 at checkout — that makes it $950 and makes you eligible for the free shipping.

The deal is on for only 1,800 redemptions so if you’re in the market for a laptop that shares some of the HP Envy 15’s specs and features, you’re in for a nice Easter gift.

Here’s where you need to start.
