Verizon Nexus One Release Date Rumored Once Again, Supposedly Arriving Next Week

March 29, 2010, By Alex Ion

While we know for sure the Google Nexus One will become available on Verizon Wireless in the near future, a specific launch has been rumored for a long time now. Well folks, here we are again speculating on a Verizon Nexus One release date for sometime next week, in April.

According to James Kendrick’s people “in positions to know” and SoftSailor’s inside scoop, what we thought was a nice mock up image (see screenshot above) could actually turn out to be true. If that’s the case the Google Nexus One is expected to start selling “by the end of next week.” As for the price, we knew that, it goes for $199 and involves the two year contracts we’ve been used with.

On top of that we’re hearing that the Sense-less Nexus One might reach the Verizon border with some added goodies that other carriers will lack. Not sure what that means, but it looks like Big Red has an ace up their sleeve, right when we thought they’re harming business by not bringing the smartphone to their customers.

Kudos to Verizon, now all we need is to see the Nexus One actually selling, before we believe it.
