Motorola Droid Android 2.1 Update Lingers and Motorola Contributes to the Disappointment

March 29, 2010, By Atul Roach

How much more will the Motorola Droid owners wait for the Android 2.1 update is a query, which is more annoying, than interesting. And now, Motorola has gone ahead and made matters worse by ‘sharing the pain’ of the irritated customers.

In a Facebook post, Motorola mentions that it understands the anxiety of the users who are willing to upgrade from Android 2.0 to 2.1. Also, it wants the users to get the best possible experience on the device and therefore THE UPDATE IS TAKING LONGER THAN USUAL. Motorola then concludes by mentioning that the deployment date hasn’t been decided but the update shall arrive soon.

As it is, the users are terribly disappointed with these extensions and previews and amidst all this, Motorola cooks up a stupid story and expects people to be patient.

Make no mistake here to solely blame Motorola for the delay, as Big Red is also overly famous for its dubious testing procedures, which in this case are annoying the users more than ever. Piece of Advice- stick to AT&T and the iPhone Combo for otherwise, Verizon and Motorola could haunt you with the updates arriving in your dream. [via: Phandroid]
