Apple iPad Specific HD Games Appear in iTunes

March 26, 2010, By Atul Roach

Apple iPad arrival is just around the corner and developers are pouring in all possible applications right from e-book readers to video players, so how is that the gamers will miss the train. The iPad will offer the pleasing opportunity of playing HD games, and the gaming fraternity will be delighted to know that some HD games have already appeared in the iTunes, where they are specifically created for the iPad

The current games that have made it to the iTunes include Plants Vs. Zombies, Flight Control, Labyrinth 2, and Worms to name a few.

It is easy to recognize these games in the iTunes scroll as they have ‘HD’ suffixed at the end of their names. These games only cater to the iPad and should not be mistaken for iPhone 3G or 3GS apps.

Apparently, if you try to click on these games you will get a ‘not available’ prompt, so it is advisable to be patient until April 3. Cupertino is actually smart enough to make a separate iPad section for the App store and though no one is talking about it, we will definitely see something of the sort post the iPad arrival.
