Nokia Symbian^3 Touchscreen Smartphone Leaked; To Feature 12MP Camera & HDMI Out

We are ‘so much’ wanting Nokia to come up with a stunner of a smartphone and here comes some hope in the form of a leaked image. The device has no name but, it is expected to be the next Nokia flagship which will come laden with Symbian^3 , the second open version of the Symbian platform. Yes you read it right, it will indeed be the first smartphone to come with Symbian^3 and thus it will fetch you advantages such as full HDMI support and support for advanced layering and effects.

There is of course a touted code name for it- N8-00 (aka N87) but, I am not certain the next flagship dubbing will be based on these imaginative names. The common belief is that it will feature a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen and an amazing 12mp camera which will be blessed with Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics.

The top of the phone will have two jacks, one each for HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone opening while the phone will also get a bottom loading battery, which will maintain it’s uni-body styling. The phone is ‘probably’ slated to arrive in September this year.

I have a sound feeling that the next big phone will not be the iPhone 4G or the Nexus One successor, it will instead bear the famed Finnish logo. [via: Mobilebulgaria]
