JVC Everio GZ-HM550 camera announced; boasts of built-in Bluetooth wireless technology

The new high definition camera from JVC has been made official. Christened Everio GZ-HM550, the camera’s most significant add on comes in the form of a built-in Bluetooth wireless technology feature. This could mean that  you will be able to make the Everio work with a slew of other wireless devices too. The JVC GZ-HM550 Bluetooth enabled camera is available now for $799.95.

Featuring a 10.6 megapixel CMOS sensor, the camera boasts of capabilities that allow recording high quality Full HD video. This apart, it comes with a capacity to record nine megapixel digital stills to its internal 32GB flash memory. Additional storage options are provided by the SD/SDHC card slot incorporated in the camera. Besides these functions, the JVC Everio GZ-HM550 offers new advanced shooting functions such as time lapse recording and auto recording.

Specifications are many, and the most significant ones include Face Flow Thumbnail, a feature that displays thumbnails from a particular section of a video by automatically selecting and zooming into human faces.  Going by the specs, it looks JVC has lined up a charmer of a camera. Get one?
