Opera may not be the best of browsers when it comes to surfing the web through a regular computer but its mobile app version, the Opera Mini, is an extremely admired browser on the cellphones. Opera has now gone ahead and submitted its Opera Mini App for the iPhone and the fanatics are hoping that Cupertino does approve it. The browser was first previewed at the Mobile World Congress and the experts lauded its amazing speed more than anything else on the iPhone.

For comparison sakes, the Opera Mini browser is up to six times faster than the Safari browser thanks to the server-side rendering technique. Courtesy of this technique, Opera Mini compresses data by up to 90 percent before sending it to the iPhone, which facilitates rapid page loading.

There is a every chance of Apple approving the world’s most loved phone browser which boasts of speed, usability and navigation-friendly design. The only problem could be a probable duplication of core iPhone functionality (pattern) but, I am positive that Apple will ignore it. Happy browsing! [via: Engadget]
