Mass Effect 2 DLC Packs Pricing and Other Details Revealed

March 22, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

BioWare, developers of Mass Effect 2, have just revealed the details behind the upcoming downloadble content for the game. Apparently, one of the packages won’t be a mission pack, but rather a visual enhancement – and will be released for both the PC and Xbox 360 tomorrow, priced at 560 Microsoft Points, or $7, for the Kasumi DLC.

Anyone who already owns the Cerberus Network will be able to download the Firewalker Pack for free, otherwise it will cost 1200 MS Points or $15. The Stolen Memory DLC which is coming April 6 hasn’t been priced yet.

Firewalker is a mission pack, spreading over 5 missions featuring the Hammerhead, a heavy assault vehicle that can hover around, fly at high speeds, and use advanced weapon systems. The Alternate Appearance Pack, on the other hand, will give your squad members new clothing.

Look out for the new DLC packages and be sure to let us know if you’ve found them good – with the amount of quality development invested in the original game, we’d expect them to be a blast!
