I do not know how many of you are excited to read this header but, it sure has me excited as Dell is another big name which is seriously thinking about Android smartphones. It is already selling the Mini 3i in China and the experts believe that the touted Aero is an improved version which is slated to hit American shores. AT&T has announced the phone but no specific details are available, nor is there any clue as to when the Dell Aero will be up for the grabs.
If it is indeed the Mini 3i derivative, the phone will probably come with a 3.5-inch 640 x 360 touchscreen, a 3-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and it will run on AT&T’s 3G bands. AT&T has assured that more details about the Android smartphone will be revealed at the CTIA Wireless 2010 this week.
AT&T has also revealed that Dell Aero will feature a reworked version of the Android UI and it has been re-skinned together by Dell and the US Carrier which sells the iPhone exclusively. [via: Androidcommunity]
