It is almost certain that the Samsung tablet will arrive in our midst by the second quarter of 2010.  And, that could also mean that Apple’s iPad has a rival that could take tablet battles to a more serious terrain. With Samsung lining up its new  tablet, it is for sure that you will soon get an equally capable device to play with.

For those who have been keen to see a new tablet, here are some specs that have been spotted in the wild. The new upcoming Samsung device would be luring to the core, considering that 4G connectivity would be one feature. Earlier rumored as an Intel-powered device, the Samsung tablet will actually run Google’s Android OS, combined with a ARM-based setup. Doesn’t that sound interesting? So 3G, 4G and VoIP – Samsung’s new tablet might well give iPad a run for its money.

The device could be a redesigned version of the Q1 tablet. But then going by the new features, we guess Samsung is putting in all it needs to make the device an ultimate charmer.  The details that have been trickling in are in fact to sketchy, you would agree.  But from whatever we have managed to gather, we guess iPad could be too much money for all what it offers. Let’s wait for a few more months to see if Samsung lives up to the promise.
