In case you haven’t heard much about the new line of netbooks that Acer prefers to keep under wraps for the moment, we would like to tell you these devices have made us simply wonderstruck as they unfolded before our eyes. What pushes us into even depths of awe is the fact that Acer, which had granted us a first look of the new Acer 1830T netbook a few days ago, is all set to bring in two new marvels called the Acer Aspire 1825PT and Aspire 1825PTZ. The unveiling might just happen in a couple of months.

From what we manage to gather, the new Acer Aspire 1825PT and Aspire 1825PTZ would come as 11.6-inch netbooks with capacitive touchscreen displays. Both the models would run Windows 7 Home Premium Edition.
A closer look would reveal that the Acer 1825PTZ and 1825PT netbooks are more or less updated models based on the Acer 1820PT / 1820PTZ netbooks that are a rage in the market these days. It may be recalled that these two predecessor models had been rolled out during the end of last year. Powered by 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor and complete with 4GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive, the Acer Aspire 1825PT shows signs of being the higher end model from the computer maker. Meanwhile, the 1825PTZ could be a cheaper version with the presence of a less expensive 1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU4100 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 250GB of RAM.
We hear preorder prices for the PTZ reads €693.15 in Italy, which could well be around $942. However, we think we will wait for officials at Acer to tell the world what is on the pricing front.
