Motorola Milestone With Android 2.1 to be Released in Bulgaria This Month

March 12, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

There were hints that there would be an availability of the Motorola Milestone running Android 2.1 in Europe somewhere around this time, but nothing was certain – now though, some specific details have been released, confirming the rumors and actually shedding some light on them.

Mobile Bulgaria reports that the country’s currently leading mobile operator, Vivacom, will be selling the Motorola Milestone featuring the Android 2.1, and the deadline is set to March 20th. This is clearly an indication that the rest of Europe will see the device as well in the following days/weeks, so keep an eye out for more information.

If you live in Bulgaria and are planning on getting the Milestone, make sure you let us know what you think of it – as well as any impressions on the pricing, etc.

US users are still in the dark though, as nothing is known about any releases there. Though, it’s expected that they’ll follow close behind, and it’s very likely that this is what’ll happen.
