Dell has finally understood that cutting down the size of its notebooks might just help the depleting sales count and it has introduced the latest member from the Precision series- M4500. The Precision 4500 shares many features with the 17-inch M6500 but it offers a smaller 15.6-inch screen for starters.

The 15.6-inch display has a 16:9 ratio and 1920 x 1080 resolution and the notebook features a choice of processors- Core i5 or Core i7. The graphics are taken care of by the NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M or 880M chipsets.

The Dell branding is popular for its special integrations and the M4500 is no less with a plethora of offerings that you seldom find on other lappies. Be it the HD+ sRGB LED screen will 100% color gamut or the 64GB SSD mini card for dual drive, one can enjoy the dooddad to the max with such specialties.

It also offers a 3MP camera, a multi-carrier-friendly Gobi 2.0 wireless chip for connectivity on the go and a backlit keyboard with a multi-touch trackpad.

There are a couple of battery options to choose from where the lower 9 cell unit gets in 7 hours and 40 minutes of work time. The pricing of this notebook is again a mystery but, the experts guess that it will fetch a minimum of $1700. [via: Engadget]
