Panasonic “accidentally” leaks specs and images for upcoming G2 and G10 Micro Four Thirds

March 5, 2010, By Thomas Antony

Somebody managing Panasonic’s website had an “accident” and somehow ended up posting specs and images of their upcoming G2 andG10 Micro Four Thirds cameras just long enough to be lapped up by some photography blogs. While there is no denying the authenticity of the pics, the specs may still be “works-in-progress”.

Check below to see what we have been able to get from the “leak”.

The G2 and the G10 Micro Four Thirds will come with 12.1 megapixel sensors, touch screen with touch shutter and touch MF assist. They both come with ISO 100 to 6200 sensitivity. The G2 has a one-touch AVCHD Lite movie mode (1280×720, 60p) and a 3-inch articulating display with live view. On the other hand, the G10 offers a “double view” ( LCD and Live viewfinder ) glimpse at the action while recording live 1280×720 MJPEG videos at 30 fps. The leaked spec sheet also mentions AVCHD Lit format support on the G10 which is somewhat inconsistent with what is known.

Well, whatever be the case, you will know for sure when Panasonic makes the announcement on March 7.
