Project Pink QWERTY Slider Leaked Pictures, Verizon Exlusive

March 4, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

Project Pink has been talked about quite a lot lately, as rumors have it that Microsoft are very close to the device’s release date, and we’ll soon get to enjoy it first-hand. The first thing that’s been released as near-confirmed is that the phones will be distributed by Verizon exclusively.

This makes sense if you consider the CDMA radios that were passing through the FCC recently. The UI is stated to be “hectic and colorful”, and the device will heavily utilize cloud technology, in combination with desktop software to sync up with the cloud.

The data plan for the Project Pink will include a given amount of app downloads every month, which is also something worth mentioning. There have also been some screenshots leaked from the device, showing the emergency dialer, as well as a Facebook upload being done from the device. The only problem is, there’s not much evidence of the mentioned “hectic and colorful” UI, as what can be seen in the pictures actually resembles an early stage of development in a software product, and is thus not that impressive entirely.
