Pininfarina Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta Concept shows up at Geneva Motor Show

The 2uettottanta concept from the Pininfarina-Alfa Romeo stables has been showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. A two-seat spider model with the cuttlebone design, the 2uettottanta concept comes across as a wide machine at 1797mm, with length and height at 4213mm x 1280mm high. At first look, it reveals a design that paints a picture of a revived Alfa Romeo Duetto that was rolled out way back in 1966. The wraps were taken off the concept and what was revealed was a car with thin LED strip lights, in place of the original bug-eye headlamps. The concept design boasts of floating wings that form roll-over bars behind the seats.

A 1750 cc longitudinal-mount turbocharged engine powers the concept. The car, if it rolls out of the concept design, would boast of lightweight sport seats wrapped in stitched leather, with matching material used around the shifter and the steering wheel. Three-spoke wheels with shift paddles make control on the gearbox even secure.

A closer look would reveal that the onus is on driving comfort. We are yet to know if the concept will really get real, but by the looks of it there are chances that we might get to see the car on the tarmac soon.
