PS3 Network Still Down, You?

March 1, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

The PlayStation Network has been down today, and customers have been expressing severe frustration over the matter. It doesn’t seem to be an issue with the downtime itself, as much as the fat that Sony still haven’t made an official statement on the matter.

A lot of PS owners have expressed intentions to switch to the Xbox 360 – even though the Xbox Live network hasn’t been without downtimes of its own, Microsoft have always stayed in contact with players and have done their best to ensure a quick resolution of problems. Not to mention that downtimes are usually scheduled beforehand by Microsoft, so you know to expect it.

The only communication from Sony so far has been through their Twitter account, which doesn’t really strike as professional, when they have a website to publish important news like this. Yes, they have published an article on their blog, but in a situation like this, a mass e-mail to the account owners is surely in order, right? Let’s at least hope that the issue will be resolved soon.
