Final Fantasy XI has been around for eight years now, and as always the game is set to open up new vistas of entertainment with the addition of a set of three new expansions coming its way. From what we learn, Square Enix is ready with three new expansions priced at $10 each and will bring forth the new expansions to Final Fantasy XI this year.
Aimed at simultaneous releases in all the markets for all platforms, the three packs will be available in all regions, on all three FFXI platforms, namely PC, PS2, and Xbox 360. Square Enix has made it public at this year’s fan convention Vana Fest that the three Final Fantasy XI add-ons will release during the current year and that will cost $10 each.
To be christened Vision of Abyssea, Scars of Abyssea, and Heroes of Abyssea, the new expansions will come one after the other. The first release is expected to happen during the summer of 2010.
There is one clause though. If you haven’t bought the two previous expansion packs yet, you better do that. For, accessing the three new add-ons would require you to have acquired the two previous expansion packs, namely Rise of the Zilart and Wings of the Goddess. So what are you waiting for now?
