Lenovo ThinkPad X100e Leaks With Atom N450 CPU as a 10.1-inch Netbook-Like Notebook?

February 22, 2010, By Alex Ion

Although we were quite sure that the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e was a 11.6-inch laptop with AMD Neo processors under the hood, a recent document on the company’s website showed us a new 10.1-inch model with an Intel Atom N450 processor clocking at 1.66GHz and SD+ 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, that looks more like a powerful netbook than a laptop.

Although there's nothing confirmed regarding price and availability, we're happy to tell you that the 10.1-inch ThinkPad X100e will bring similar specs with the bigger version, and that includes an anti-glare LED backlight LCD, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage space, either integrated Intel graphics, the Radeon HD 2200 or the HD 3200 graphics, M780G. Other specs include WiFi connectivity, a six cell battery (or a three cell battery), and as operating system Windows XP or Windows 7.

There are also three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader and a VGA port to connect to an external monitor.

No word when exactly the mini ThinkPad X100e will start selling or for how much, but if anyone cares we're game for testing one out.
