T-Mobile USA to Launch HTC HD2 Next Month

While the future carriers for the HTC Legend and the HTC Desire (probably VZW) remain a mystery in the United States, there is some consolation in the fact that HTC HD2 has finally been announced by T-Mobile and it should be available as early as next month.

The HTC HD2 is the current flagship model for HTC which is already on sale in Europe and this specific T-Mobile US version will come blessed with Barnes & Noble’s e-book app and video apps from Blockbuster and MobiTV preloaded. Users will also enjoy Transformers movies (pre-laden) on the device which could be enjoyed while traveling.

For the first six months, the regular air travelers will also enjoy Gogo Inflight Internet service hooked up through WiFi connectivity onbaord. The HTC HD2 has been around for a while but if you have still forgotten the important features, the smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 and it features a 4.7-inch capacitive touch screen display with 480 by 800 WVGA resolution.

The processing speeds are also laudable for the handset as it integrates the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. Flicks can be clicked using a 5MP camera which is assisted by auto-focus technology and a Dual LED flashlight. A G-sensor, a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor make the HTC HD2 a real attractive smartphone. [couresty: Nexus404]
