In an e-reader market that is getting crowded by the day, a new device has arrived to make the mart more luring. Energy Sistem, which had already announced its innovation with Energy Book 1060 some time ago, has now introduced its new Energy Book 2061.

Though the new device doesn’t have too much of pathbreaking features, the arrival of the Energy Book 2061 may be seen as a unique landmark for the eReader mart. A 6-inch Vizplex display, along with 64MB of internal memory as well as an SDHC card slot for expansion, makes the Energy Book 2061a must buy. Other features include an MP3 player, ePub and PDF support and a 6,000 page turns on a battery charge.

The device has been built to be compatible with the most popular file formats such as ePUB,FB2 y PDF. Moreover, it would offer over one million free books from Google Books. Made to run on Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 and MacOS 9.x/X,    the device comes with a user friendly multilingual interface. Functionalities include page-marking, zoom, book search and image viewer.

Energy Sistem has not decided on the release date. However, we are being told that the device could go on sale in Europe from next month onwards for €258 (around $350).
