HTC Legend Confirmed in the Netherlands; Android-powered Legend Available to Hit on KPN in March

February 11, 2010, By Alex Ion

We had our rounds of HTC Legend rumors for some time now, but from what it looks like the Android-powered smartphone has finally made an official appearance with the Dutch from KPN. From what it looks like the new HTC Legend will start selling in the Netherlands with availability expected for next month — although nothing specific on the exact release date.

If we’re to believe the announcement, the new KPN HTC Legend should bring a 3.2-inch display, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM under the hood, AGPS support, WiFi connectivity, an FM radio and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus — making it quite a successor for the Hero. On top of that our previous reports were speaking of a microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 3.5mm jack along with a 1300 mAh battery, all confirmed on the KPN listing.

Looks like you can now “reserve” your HTC Legend if in the Netherlands, so guess we’ll know more about it in the days to come when the 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona kicks in.
