T-Mobile Relaunch the myTouch 3G, Name Stays the Same

February 10, 2010, By Radimir Bobev

T-Mobile are relaunching the myTouch 3G, and while they didn’t spend too much time trying to come up with a creative name for it, let’s not forget that the phone’s name doesn’t leave that much room for originality in the first place.

So anyway, the name hasn’t changed at all – however, the device itself has gotten a few improvements which will make it a much more attractive choice. It now has a 3.5mm jack for your convenience, so you can use your own headphones with it – and the music player has been revamped as well, making it much more smoother and intuitive.

The phone also gets a memory expansion, packing 288 MB of RAM and a microSD car with 8 GB to store your media on. It also has a swype soft keyboard, and will come with some interesting applications pre-installed, such as a barcode scanner and visual voicemail.

You can expect to get it from T-Mobile retail outlets for the price of $149.99 with a two-year contract, and you’ll get to choose from black and white color styles.
