Eager to know who will be the show stopper at the Mobile World Congress 2010? The fanatics have high hopes from Samsung as a lot has been spoken about a new age smartphone from Samsung that will pack-in a Super AMOLED display and the all new Bada OS. Samsung has a press event scheduled for February 14 and speculations are ripe that a top-notch handset running Bada will break cover at the gathering.

Super AMOLED screens developed by Samsung are five times clearer and 20% better visible when used outside compared to a normal AMOLED. As far as Bada is concerned, its UI screen isn’t utterly fresh with its flip clock display but it ‘could’ still throw in some surprises.

To get things rolling, Samsung is promoting the Samsung Unpacked teaser page from its Bada site based on the ocean theme. A careful look at the teaser reveals words like Bada, Super AMOLED and smartphone which gives hope that a 3.3-inch, 800 x 480 pixel Super AMOLED Bada laden phone will arrive on Valentines Day.[via: Engadget]
