Fujitsu T900 Tablet now available in the US with Intel Core i5 Configuration

iPad has made the tablets popular and here is a US arrival confirmed for yet another Tablet this time from Fujitsu. Dubbed the Fujitsu T900, this tablet comes with a basic Intel Core i5-520M configuration which runs at 2.4 GHZ. For the ones seeking better performance from the T900, Fujitsu does give the option of upgrading the tablet with 2.53GHz Core i5 or a 2.66GHz Core i7. Other than the processor, the details include 2GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive for the basic model.

A modular bay can also be added to the T900 Tablet which can be used for an extra battery, an optical drive or a second hard drive. On the fascia, the Fujitsu T900 has a 13.3-inch WXGA touchscreen with LED backlighting enabling 300-nit brightness.

Talk about customization options and Fujitsu has the world to offer. Other than upgrading the gadget with a better CPU, users can add an anti-reflective coating for better viewing in bright conditions. Users can also incorporate a heavier 320GB HDD or SSDs between 64GB and 128GB and RAM up to 8GB.

The basic model is priced at $1,890 while the upgraded (Core i7 CPU) version will cost $2,040.[via: Electronista]
