MSI unveils the CR720 big screen notebook
One of the cons of getting a notebook instead of a desktop for home or office use is the smaller screen size you get in exchange for the higher portability. Now MSI has unveiled CR720 notebook with a comparatively larger screen to take care of this segment of users.
The CR720 has a 17.3-inch LED backlit LCD with a 1600×900 resolution. While the CPU that will power the machine hasn’t been revealed, they are saying it will have 2010 Intel Core i processors and Intel HM55 chipset for graphics. The keyboard has a chicklet keyboard that is very popular today and also has a seamless touchpad.
The notebook comes with upto 4GB of RAM and upto 500GB of storage. Other specs include a memory card reader, HDMI output, 6-cell battery and 802.11b/g/n wireless. The sound system is pretty good with two speakers and a built-in subwoofer. The CR720 will come preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
Pricing and availability information is not known at present.
