Apple rumored to be making a bigger iPad version that would run Mac OS X
The iPad is everyone’s mind and shopping list. Even as the whole world seems to be waiting for the first Apple iPad to start shipping, here comes yet another piece of wonderful news. The grapevine has it that Apple has already started building a new advanced version of the iPad and that it would sport Mac OS X.
So if the rumors are to be believed, the development of the new much advanced version of the Apple iPad comes as significant news. We hear that the new model could come as a much larger device and would run software much more like Mac OS X and the not iPhone OS. Significantly, the rumors also have zeroed in on a launch period too. If they are to be trusted, we would be able to see Apple bosses playing with the new Mac OS X iPad in just a year’s time. Cool, isn’t it?
The new bigger deice might come with an external keyboard, kickstand and much more.
Likely to be a transition point between the laptop and next generation computing devices, the new Mac OS X-powered iPad could sport a price tag of anything above $1,000. But then these are just rumors. We would like to see such a device soon, and we are waiting more news bits on that.
