Scosche kickBACK to start shipping this Spring; Apple iPad can now have a kickstand

January 29, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

This is for those people out there who were a bit dejected when they heard the Apple iPad would not come with a kickstand. If Apple doesn’t give you that, Scosche will. It indeed has. The Scosche kickstand, or kickBACK, as the company calls it, has debuted as a polycarbonate and rubber creation and is attractive like the device it would support from behind.

Made to handle and adjust the iPad in both portrait and landscape mode, the cute Scosche accessory is shatter proof and would help you watch your favorite  soap or anything on the iPad display by just resting on the table in front of you. You can have your hands free. The kickback also enables a low angle setting for an optimal typing position and has been spruced up with molded grips for safe handling. The kickback case will also include a screen protector and cleaning cloth.

With the creation of the kickback, Scosche, the known accessory maker for iPods and other Apple devices, has climbed on to headline space close on the toes of the launch of the Apple iPad. The company believes that that ability to react quickly without sacrificing quality has helped Scosche develop necessary accessories like the new kickBACK.

Expected to start shipping by early-mid Spring 2010, we are still waiting for an announcement on the pricing front.
