MSI Wind U135 shipping in US; pick one for $330
The Wind has got on to its mind blowing act, and the first region it has targeted is the US. Before you get any ideas or run into conclusions, we are talking of the MSI Wind U135, which has just begun shipping in the United States. Though it has been a fairly short period of wait since December, the device has finally arrived.
To arrive in hues of black, blue, red and white, the MSI Wind U135 comes with a new attractive keypad. The company has added new updates to the trackpad also, and the Wind U135 sports a smudge-resistant cabinet too.
One significant fact about the MSI Wind U135 is that it is the company’s first device to use Intel’s Pine Trail platform. It has under the hood the latest 1.66GHz Atom and will also boast of as much as 7.5 hours of battery life. Other specifications include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a 3-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter. It is also expected that MSI might bring in versions with 250GB drives and 6-cell batteries some time later.
MSI Wind U135 will be available for around $330, while we have noticed that Amazon has been selling it for $317.
