Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus on VZW Site with BOGO Offer

January 25, 2010, By Atul Roach

Two of Palm’s webOS devices, the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus which were announced at the CES 2010 are now available with Verizon Wireless, which makes it the second carrier to sell the handset in the US. It was no big secret that both the devices will arrive at VZW today but, what is a surprise, is the BOGO buy one get one free offer. The limited time offer promises to give a free Palm Pixi Plus on purchase of any of the two devices. It purely depends on the customer whether he wants a pair of Pixi Plus handsets or each of the two.

Individually, the Pre Plus costs $149.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate and the Pixi Plus is being sold for $99 (again after the rebate). Both the devices are offered on a two-year contract where a customer can choose from a number of calling plans.

For me, I would have chosen to get home both the handsets especially because the Pre Plus is being shipped with double the internal memory and a standard induction cover for Touchstone charging which was earlier an option. [via: Zdnet]
